Smartly Linking the New Maritime Ecosystem! SOARLON Maritime Showcases High-Powered New Products in Wuhan

Discussing Insights in Wuhan, Creating the Future with Wisdom. From October 11 to 13, 2025, the Wuhan International Shipbuilding Industry Technology & Offshore Equipment Exhibition grandly opened at Wuhan International Expo Center. With the theme of “New-Quality Momentum, Smartly Linking the Globe”, this year’s exhibition gathered leading enterprises in the global shipbuilding industry to jointly explore new development paths for green and intelligent ships. SOARLON Maritime Co, Ltd showcased its series of core products at Booth 3109-5, Hall B3, wowing the audience with its technological strength in polymer new materials.

As a high-tech enterprise backed by university and research institutes, SOARLON Maritime has always focused on national strategic needs and excelled in the field of high-reliability, intelligent and environmentally friendly marine equipment. At this exhibition, the company showcased its star products such as SOARLON polymer insert as key highlights, garnering widespread attention from the industry with four core advantages:

Its superior heat dissipation effectively dissipates heat generated by rope friction, eliminating heat accumulation hazards at the source; exceptional wear resistance significantly reduces rope wear and extends the service life of marine equipment; the corrosion-resistant design effortlessly withstands seawater erosion, seamlessly adapting to harsh marine conditions; and the unique antistatic technology prevents frictional charge accumulation, further enhancing the safety factor of ship mooring.

Relevant technologies of this product have been granted multiple utility model patents. Its detachable design and modular structure can significantly reduce operation and maintenance costs, combining safety and cost-effectiveness. Beyond the star product, the complete set of solutions on display—including polymer water-lubricated bearings, stern bearing system operation and maintenance devices, polymer roller protective sleeves, and open water-lubricated stern shaft intelligent operation and maintenance systems—fully demonstrated the company’s capability in full industrial chain layout within the field of marine stern bearing systems and mooring outfitting safety.

SOARLON Maritime broke through the traditional exhibition model, centering on the “SOARLON Aetheris Tribute Virtual Space” to build a two-dimensional exhibition system of “physical + virtual”. This approach intuitively presented the advantages of its flagship products through 3D animations, becoming the core driver of audience engagement at the booth.

Putting on the VR equipment, customers step right into the “SOARLON Aetheris Tribute Virtual Space”—tailored to showcase the company’s products in greater detail. No tedious parameters here—just interactive 3D scenarios. On the decks of 1:1 scale replicas of inland bulk carriers and coastal container ships, visitors can clearly see the precise fit between SOARLON polymer insert and different types of chocks, with dynamic demonstrations of how the products cushion rope friction and resist seawater spray during ship mooring operations. Through gesture interaction, users can “disassemble” the special composite material layers of the SOARLON polymer insert to inspect its internal reinforced structure. 3D animations demonstrate the installation process step by step—from size fitting to securing steps—every detail is clearly visible, alleviating customers’ concerns about “difficult installation.”

Behind these high-performance products lies strong R&D capability. SOARLON Maritime’s R&D team has not only undertaken key national, provincial, and ministerial-level scientific research projects but also won multiple authoritative awards, including the Second-Class Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. The company has also successfully shortlisted for Qidong City’s “Dongjiang Talent Program”. To date, it has accumulated 48 authorized patents—including 1 South Korean invention patent and 1 Japanese invention patent—covering key areas such as material R&D, equipment design, and production processing. Among them, patented technologies newly authorized in 2024, such as the heat-dissipating polymer insert and replaceable mooring device, have been quickly transformed into market competitiveness.

“This exhibition has built an excellent communication platform, allowing us to directly engage with the needs of shipbuilding enterprises in the central region,” stated the company’s person in charge. Adhering to the philosophy of Innovation, Professionalism, Environmental Protection, and Integrity, the company aims to take this exhibition as an opportunity to deepen cooperation with the shipbuilding industry chain in the Yangtze River Basin and bring more green and intelligent new material technologies to the global market.

During the three-day exhibition, SOARLON Maritime’s booth received representatives from shipbuilding enterprises, ship repair yards, and industry associations from Hubei, Hunan, Anhui, and even overseas. Multiple cooperation intentions were reached on site. As an innovation benchmark in the field of marine new materials, the company is driving industrial upgrading through technological breakthroughs, injecting new momentum into building a highland for the green and intelligent marine equipment industry in inland river basins.
